We would like to apologise for the current delays on deliveries, as you can see we are working flat out across Europe making our deliveries and trying to catch up. We have our 2 crews flat out at present going back and forth to the warehouses and factories and then out to Europe as you can see reading the further articles on this page.
The delays have been caused firstly due to our Spring sale where customers took advantage of the extra discount on offer and also we had a higher volume of incoming business than last year which wasn't anticipated.
Thrown into the mix then was the Easter holiday period where we lose time due to warehouses and factories closing and staff holiday periods and then this year dates fell straight into May Day bank holiday!
To avoid delivery partners ( who are closed longer as they work to Spanish/France holidays which are even longer) our two drivers have been going not just to France but also Spain and Portugal as its quicker to use our team.
We had considered putting a third van on but our 2 guys Bruce and Andy are very experienced having done the role for many years and we can't take the risk of sending out someone not experienced as its not just a case of dropping off boxes as we are delivering quality furniture and very large beds.
We looked at bigger vans too but then this can cause access problems to some homes and roads as there are some very remote places out there!
Anyway sorry for the delays, we have extended the lead times on our 3 websites so we can deal with our current outstanding deliveries first and our drivers are back and forth until they catch up working 7 days per week. We will get to you as soon as possible as well as catch up, finally thank you for taking advantage of our Spring Sale despite it pushing out the delivery dates a little.
