DELIVERY PROCEDURES, LEAD TIMES AND CHARGES INFORMATION ACROSS FRANCE, SPAIN, PORTUGAL, IRELAND, ITALY, GERMANY, NETHERLANDS, GUERNSEY & JERSEY

For each Country that we deliver to we have a small delivery charge and procedure to follow. Here are the details country by country.

1SPAIN. MAINLAND.

The delivery charge from our UK warehouses to Spain is £149. The delivery charge is per delivery NOT per item.

Current lead times are approximately 4 to 6 weeks.

Costa Blanca and Costa Del Sol deliveries are performed by Malaga Removals, our distribution partners for this region. When your items arrive at the Malaga warehouse you will receive a phone call from them to arrange your delivery.

On arrival at your property Malaga removals will deliver your furniture to your room of choice.

The majority of our furniture is already assembled and will need unpacking only. However, wardrobes, beds and tables will require some simple assembling.

Deliveries outside of the Costa Del Sol and Costa Blanca regions are delivered by our own delivery team. You will receive an email from our Transport Manager who will advise you when your order has been dispatched. Thereafter the designated driver will contact you and update you on your order status.

Canary Islands 

We deliver to the Canary Islands using a shipping company, delivery lead time 4 to 8 week. Delivery charge £299

Baleric Islands 

We deliver to the Baleric islands by way of our own van and driver or Malaga Removals.  Lead time 4 to 8 weeks. Delivery Charge £249

2. PORTUGAL

The delivery charge from our UK warehouses to Portugal is £149. The delivery charge is per delivery NOT per item.

Current lead times are approximately 4 to 6 weeks.

Deliveries are carried out by Algarve Removals, our distribution partners for this region. On arrival into their Portugal warehouse Algarve removals will give you a call to arrange your delivery.

On arrival at your property Algarve removals will deliver your furniture to your room of choice.

The majority of our furniture is already assembled and will need unpacking only. However, wardrobes, beds and tables will require some simple assembling. 

3. FRANCE

The delivery charge from our UK warehouses to France is £149. The delivery charge is per delivery NOT per item.

We make the deliveries ourselves from the UK to France and our current lead time is 4 to 6 weeks. We deliver each week to France on a regular basis.

Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email from our Transport Manager. Thereafter your designated driver will contact you regarding your delivery status.

On arrival our driver will assist you in delivering your furniture to your room of choice.

The majority of our furniture is already assembled and will need unpacking only. However wardrobes, beds and tables require some simple assembling.

On the France deliveries we can offer an upgrade to a premium delivery service. This service includes unpacking your furniture, assembling and positioning your furniture where requested, and removing all the packaging for recycling. The cost of a premium delivery is £199.

 4. HOLLAND 

The delivery charge from our UK warehouses to Holland is £149. The delivery charge is per delivery NOT per item.

We make the deliveries ourselves from the UK to Holland and our current lead time is 4 to 8 weeks on average.

When your order has been dispatched you will receive an email from our Transport Manager. Thereafter your designated driver will contact you and update you on your order status.

On arrival our driver will assist in you in delivering your furniture to your room of choice.

The majority of our furniture is already assembled and will need unpacking only. However, wardrobes, beds and tables will require some simple assembling.

On the Holland deliveries we can offer an upgrade to a premium delivery service. This service includes unpacking your furniture, assembling and positioning your furniture where requested and removing all the packaging for recycling. The cost of a premium delivery is £199.

5. GERMANY 

We make the deliveries ourselves from the UK to Germany and our current lead time is 4 to 10 weeks on average, dependent on volumes and regions.

The delivery charge to Germany from our UK warehouses is £199 per delivery NOT per item.

When your order has been dispatched you will receive an email from our Transport Manager. Thereafter your designated driver will contact you regarding your delivery status.

On arrival our driver will assist you in delivering your furniture to your room of choice.

The majority of our furniture is already assembled and will need unpacking only. However, wardrobes, beds and tables will require some simple assembling.

6. ITALY 

We make the deliveries ourselves from the UK to Italy and our current lead time is 4 to 10 weeks on average, dependent on volumes and regions.

The delivery charge to Italy from our UK warehouses is £299 per delivery NOT per item.

When your order is dispatched you will receive an email from our Transport Manager. Thereafter your designated driver will contact you regarding your delivery status.

On arrival our driver will assist you in delivering your furniture to your room of choice.

The majority of our furniture is already assembled and will need unpacking only. However, wardrobes, beds and tables will require some simple assembling.

IRELAND 

The delivery charge to Ireland is £149 for standard delivery or £199 for Premium delivery.

We do a monthly delivery run to Ireland by way of our own delivery van and driver.

Current lead times are 4 to 6 weeks.

JERSEY AND GUERNSEY 

The delivery charge to the Channel Islands is £149 for standard delivery or £199 for Premium delivery.

We do a monthly delivery run to the Islands  by way of our own delivery van and driver.

Current lead times are 4 to 6 weeks.

MALLORCA ISLAND 

The delivery charge from our UK warehouses to Mallorca is £299. The delivery charge is per delivery NOT per item.

Current lead times are approximately 4 to 8 weeks.

Mallorca deliveries are performed by Malaga Removals our distribution partners for this region. When your items arrive at their Alicante warehouse Malaga removals will give you a call to arrange your delivery.

On arrival at your property Malaga removals will deliver your furniture to your room of choice.

The majority of our furniture is already assembled and will need unpacking only. However, wardrobes, beds and tables will require some simple assembling.

OTHER DESTINATIONS

We can ship to other destinations. This is carried out by various transport companies that are at our disposal. To obtain a delivery quote please email transport.oaklandfurniture@gmail.com

DELIVERY DATE REQUESTS.

We understand that some customers do not reside full time at their overseas address and require specific delivery dates. 

For Spain and Portugal please state your delivery requirements in the comments box at the checkout. Please allow a 7 day window of opportunity. We need as much notice as possible for scheduling purposes so that we can target your requested dates.

For France, we require at least 7/8 weeks notice if you require a 7 day window of delivery dates.

For Holland we require 8 weeks notice for a 7 day window period.

For other Countries we can not provide a 7 day window service due to the distances involved, although we will target where possible to assist all customers.

PIN POINTING YOUR ACTUAL DELIVERY DATE/DAY.

The most common question we get asked (whilst the order is still within lead times as advised above) is when will my furniture be delivered, or can you tell me when my furniture will be delivered? 

For the above reason and it's of course a natural question, here's a full explanation as to what happens when we receive your order and how you receive your actual delivery date, to which we endeavour to ensure delivery to your home within our stated lead times.

Your order is processed by our order intake team in our Ipswich main office and the order is placed with the relevant warehouse, or in the case of divan beds/sofas and mattresses the producing factory.

Your order is then pulled from stock in the case of oak furniture and marked and labelled up with your full delivery details and of course contact details.

In the case of divan beds/sofas and mattresses each Monday they are placed into production with the relevant factory.

Once oak orders have been pulled by the warehouse team and then double checked to ensure correct items have been pulled into dispatch, we then arrange for them to be delivered into our distribution warehouse in Essex.  At this stage orders are again double checked to ensure all items are correct. 

Once all checked and present the orders are scheduled by our scheduling team. The scheduling team arrange the routes for the delivery teams grouping the orders as near as possible together and in regions. This ensures we can offer you the most competitive delivery rates for furniture delivered across Europe.

When the schedules are completed for Spain & Portugal our delivery partners Malaga, Alicante and Algarve removals will contact you with your planned delivery date.

For France as stated above we use our own delivery team. This delivery team run back and forth to France themselves from the warehouse. The delivery team will contact you as they head to the Ferry crossing to let you know that they are on their way to France with your order. They will update you as they travel around France. This same process happens for divan beds/sofas and mattresses as they come out of factory production and then onto the Distribution warehouse.

Single item small orders which are selected at checkout stage are collected by TNT from the distribution warehouse and delivery by a standard courier service. The scheduling team will advise when TNT have collected.

Deliveries are quite a complex operation across Europe due to the distances involved..

What we would very politely ask is that you try to refrain from phoning or emailing for a pre-forecasted delivery date prior to the scheduling teams booking in with you, as all it does in reality is slow the process down, because the scheduling team are taken away from their work to look up individual orders. Please note lead times are based on working days and not weekends or holiday periods.
